Natasha Davison


Natasha has over 30 years of professional experience in performing, choreography, broadcasting, writing and directing both domestically and internationally (“Cats”, Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast”, “Joseph and the Amazing Techni-color Dreamcoat”, TV series “Fame”). She is Musical Theatre Faculty/ Director/ Choreographer at The University of Texas Austin and Artistic Director for New Musical Development, producing workshops for new musicals such as “Princesses”, “ZM” (Zombie Musical), “Giant Steps”, “Midsummer Nights”, and “Persuasion”. She is on the producing team for the new Broadway shows “Half Time” (formerly “Gotta Dance”) and “The Prom”.

Richard Friedman


Richard Friedman has served as Theatre at the Center’s General Manager since 2011. He has held leadership positions at many arts organizations, including nine years as Managing Director of Northlight Theatre, and stints at Organic Theater, Art Resources in Teaching, and The Institute for the Arts in Boston, MA. He is founder of the Illinois Arts Alliance and is the former President of the Board of CAN TV in Chicago. He has produced multiple commercial theatre productions and is also a published poet.

Vasi Laurence

Associate Producer

Vasi is a multi-award winning Creative/Commercial Producer on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and Film. Credits include: “Passing Strange” (TONY and Drama Desk awards); “The Housewives Of Mannheim”; William Finn’s, “Make Me A Song” (NY New World Theater); “Masked” (NY Daryl Roth 2); “The Chocolate Tree” (NAMT); and in development, “The Amanda McBroom Project”. Films currently in development are “Sissyman”, “A Stonewall Riot Story”, and “The Girl With Pink Hair”. Vasi has shepherded and executive produced several new works selected for various festivals such as NAMT, 59E59, Edinburgh Festival, and Lincoln Center Summer Festival. She was executive producer and GM at Theater 47, an Off-Broadway theater in NYC.
